No Goblin’s Snap & Grab: A Unique Photography-Based Heist Game

Photography games can be hyper-realistic simulations of the real thing or a vehicle for ogling cute creatures, but No Goblin’s Snap & Grab is forging a different path by treating photography as a key ingredient in a successful heist. The upcoming game is part of the Day of the Devs showcase at Summer Game Fest 2025, ahead of its launch in 2026.

Gameplay Overview

Based on the trailer, Snap & Grab can be divided into two distinct parts. The first part involves snapping, where players assume the role of a professional photographer navigating through high-fashion high society, capturing images of items they intend to steal. The second part is grabbing, where players organize those photographs into a workflow for their team of thieves to follow during the heist. Some of the subjects photographed may serve as obstacles or elements of the environment that can be manipulated to the player’s advantage, and it appears that several images could simply be charming pictures of dogs.

Aesthetic and Theme

In line with No Goblin’s previous titles, 100ft Robot Golf and Roundabout, the game embraces an over-the-top, whimsical theme. Snap & Grab features a cartoonish 1980s aesthetic—imagine Miami Vice infused with the style of Johnny Bravo, and you will capture the essence of the vibrant hair and shoulder pads that No Goblin is showcasing.

Release Information

Fortunately, players will not have to wait long to experience the game firsthand. No Goblin has announced that Snap & Grab is set to launch on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S in 2026.
