As Nothing prepares to officially unveil its first over-ear headphones next week, leaked images and videos have provided a glimpse into their design. The Nothing Headphone 1 features a distinctive aesthetic that has been consistently depicted across various leaks, showcasing a squircle-shaped earcup adorned with the company’s signature transparent elements. Additionally, the headphones appear to support a 3.5mm audio cable, enhancing their versatility.

In a video released last month, Nothing hinted at a launch in “summer 2025,” but details about the product remained sparse. However, some insights were shared, including comments from Tom Ridley, who mentioned that the company aimed to create “a more interesting looking pair of headphones that say something about you.” Adam Bates also indicated that the headphones would feature uniquely designed buttons for different control functions, which seem to be reflected in the recent design leaks.

Images circulated by Nothing_fan_blog on Instagram depict the earcups of the Nothing Headphone 1 resembling quirky cassette tapes, aligning with Bates’ earlier statements. The visuals reveal multiple buttons for music control, suggesting a user-friendly interface. The headphones are shown in both black and silver color options, prominently displaying the branding for “Nothing Headphone 1” and “Sound by KEF” on each earcup.

Videos shared on X by Arsène Lupin from a private brand event showcase two individuals testing the headphones, utilizing what appears to be a 3.5mm wired connection. This wired option could potentially enhance audio performance compared to Bluetooth, while also eliminating the need for battery power when connected to compatible devices.

Official confirmation regarding the design, specifications, and pricing of the Headphone 1 is anticipated soon. According to statements made by Nothing CEO Carl Pei at the London SXSW conference, the official announcement is scheduled for July 1st, coinciding with the launch of the brand’s flagship smartphone, the Phone 3.
