Drag x Drive is the next exclusive title for the Nintendo Switch 2 to receive a release date. Nintendo announced via its Nintendo Today news app that the 3v3 wheelchair basketball game will be available starting August 14th.

Since the launch of the Switch 2 earlier this month, the majority of the new console’s library has consisted of third-party releases, including titles such as Deltarune and Cyberpunk 2077. To date, there have only been two exclusive titles: Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. Among these, Donkey Kong Bananza stands out as perhaps the most anticipated game of the Switch 2’s brief existence so far, launches next month on July 17th. With the addition of Drag x Drive in August, the number of first-party exclusives for the Switch 2 will increase to four.

Drag x Drive features a 3v3 wheelchair basketball format that showcases the new mouse controls of the Switch 2. A review conducted back in April noted that prolonged use of the controls, which simulate the manipulation of a wheelchair, resulted in discomfort in the arms and shoulders. As of now, Nintendo has not disclosed a price for the game, but it is hoped that the cost will be reasonable when announced.
