Anthropic Enhances Claude AI with New Interactive Feature

Claude AI introduces new interactive capabilities for users.

Anthropic is adding a new feature to its Claude AI chatbot that lets you build AI-powered apps right inside the app. The upgrade, launching in beta, builds upon Anthropic’s Artifacts feature introduced last year that lets you see and interact with what you ask Claude to make.

“Start building in the Claude app by enabling this new interactive capability,” the company states in a blog post. “Simply describe what you want to create, and Claude will write the code for you.” This feature resembles vibe coding, but with the added benefit of seeing the results directly within the Claude interface. A demonstration can be viewed in a video from Anthropic, showcasing a user building a chat application.

Early users of this feature have successfully created a variety of applications, including AI-powered games, educational tools, data analysis applications, writing assistants, and even agent workflows that “orchestrate multiple Claude calls for complex tasks,” according to Claude. These applications will be able to “interact with Claude through an API.”

In addition to the new building capabilities, Anthropic encourages users to share the applications they create. The company has implemented a system where the API usage of an app by another user “counts against their subscription, not yours.” This initiative aims to foster a collaborative environment among users.

The new feature is available across all of Anthropic’s subscription tiers, including Free, Pro, and Max.
